How can I donate or support The Haven?The Haven was built and generously funded by our community, we can't do it without you! To donate or volunteer, contact us below or at supportclarity.org, and a team member will get back to you promptly!

Who can live here?The Haven is a maternity and transitional home for women 18 and older. Women who live here may be young or starting over, alone or in a relationship, uncertain or brave, and much more. Anyone can struggle with unstable housing during and after pregnancy. There is a place for you here.

Can I bring my other children?The Haven focuses on pregnant mamas and their baby (or babies, hello twins!). Though we understand that potential residents may have other children in her care, alternate arrangements would need to be made for them. However, visitation and strong involvement is highly encouraged.

How long can The Haven be my home?The Haven accepts women during pregnancy and through baby’s 18 months of life or up to six months after delivery if placing for adoption. This isn’t just temporary shelter- you will have enough time in our home to experience and leave with lasting stability. We’re committed to you.

How many women live at The Haven?The Haven has space for up to four mamas (and their babies) to have beautiful, custom individual rooms, while sharing common areas. Though each will be on her own path, community is encouraged. We all need support sometimes!

How does it work? How do I apply?From first call to move-in, we want to help you decide if The Haven is right for you. Our staff will walk you through the application and interview process. This takes anywhere from three days to one week. Call us or get started here and a Haven staff member will call you back by the end of the next business day.

What is life like at The Haven?Work, transportation, school, visits, programming, one beautiful room all yours, workout equipment, laundry, TV, and more. Each day can look different as women live life at The Haven.

What about adoption?If you’re interested in adoption: We are completely here for you as you make a brave and loving adoption choice. We can connect you with our partner adoption agencies while being an emotional support to you through that process. If adoption is not for you: You don’t have to set up an adoption plan to stay at The Haven. We want to empower you to be the best mama you can be! If you’re seeking information on being an adoptive family: We love adoption, but do not facilitate adoptions for families seeking to adopt. Our primary focus is birth mama and baby.

How much does it cost?At The Haven, you do not have to worry with rent, a water bill, or transportation. Our home is a free, safe place for women (and babies) to experience rest and stability.

Is The Haven a homeless shelter?No. The Haven is a residential program for women who are ready for long-term solutions beyond a bed for tonight. Women can flourish here.
