The Haven at Clarity maternity home empowers pregnant women by providing security, support, and soul rest. We do this through sheltering physical life, speaking words of life over brokenness, and fostering abundant life in a gospel-filled environment so that hope and dignity can be restored for generations.
The Haven Maternity Home is a ministry arm of Clarity Solutions Pregnancy Help Center and Medical Clinic. Clarity serves men and women in unexpected pregnancy situations and over the years, it became apparent that so many didn’t just need a free ultrasound or CPR class, but a home. Like most areas, Central Kentucky is plagued with insufficient housing options and a lack of resources. People in our community often find themselves sleeping on friends’ couches, camping, scraping together money for a rent by week hotel...even during pregnancy. The Haven exists not only to be a house, but a home. This unique opportunity for women shows them that they can be strong, not only for themselves but for their baby too.

Sheltering physical life
The Haven provides a literal roof over heads. Women in our community are faced with multiple issues from poverty to lack of transportation to unstable relationships. At The Haven, pregnant women can the security she and baby needs to overcome these challenges.
Speaking words of life
The Haven isn’t just a temporary shelter. Our program includes individualized goal-setting, life skill training, transportation to needed appointments, education on pregnancy, parenting, or adoption, and the material supplies baby needs through program participation.
Fostering abundant life
Though we welcome anyone from any faith background or none at all, The Haven is a Christian home environment. Jesus has abundant love for each woman and baby who live here. We believe this is what provides true and lasting change beyond a woman's time here. Bible study, morning devotions, and church attendance are all part of life at The Haven.

Meet The Team

Daryl and Sheila come to The Haven as our House Managers- overseeing the day to day operations and living with our residents. God filled their hearts with a passion to minister to women experiencing unexpected pregnancy. So after pastoring in Northern Kentucky for more than 30 years, Daryl retired and he and Sheila are happy to now call Elizabethtown, and The Haven, home. Daryl and Sheila love to travel, explore together, and spend time with their 3 kids and 8 grandchildren. Sheila also loves to dye her hair every color of the rainbow! They have been married 41 years.
DARYL + SHEILA MULLINS
Dana Caudill has been serving at Clarity since 2021 as the Director of Residential Services at The Haven. A former Case Manager for a community mental health clinic and also for a non-profit housing ministry, Dana stepped away from her career in order to raise and invest in her two children. After being out of the workforce, God, in His good timing, called her to The Haven, in order to use her previous expertise and passions to help the women she serves. She and her husband, Shaun, have been married for 22 years and have two teenage children. Dana loves to be outdoors, spend time with her family and also curl up with a good book.
